Marilou (Malou) Hipolito-Karam

Malou brings a wealth of experience to Commissioner Reynolds office, transitioning from San Quentin State Prison to CPUC in May 2001. Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions in various divisions, including the Executive Director's Office, Commissioners' Offices, Procurement, Administrative Services, Business Service, Licensing, Fiscal, and Human Resources. Malou's diverse expertise extends to her role as a liaison for DDTP (Deaf and Disabled Telecommunication Program). Prior to her current role, she served as a legal secretary at the Administrative Law Judge Division, showcasing her versatile skill set and commitment to professional excellence. She enjoys hiking, cooking, and baking.
